Rectangular, the cover painted with an elaborate naval engagement, the sides with sprigs on a white ground, gilt metal borders.

Length: 7 1/4 inches

The scene is copied from The Battle of Trafalgar painted in 1833 by Clarkson Frederick Stanfield (1793-1867), in the collection of the Tate Gallery, London.
