English Enamel Heart-Shaped Necessaire
Possibly Bilston
Circa 1765
The sides embossed and painted with vignettes of cupids, paired hearts, quiver of arrows, pair of doves, the top with a dove above spray of fruit, gilt borders on white ground, fitted with a pair of glass scent bottles, a silver funnel, pencil, bodkin and ear scoop.
