This painting is closely related to a work by Francesco Cairo in the Curia Arcivescovile, Milan, that depicts a similarly turbaned woman.1We are grateful to Prof. Francesco Frangi for endorsing the attribution to Francesco Cairo on the basis of digital images. He dates this work to the end of the 1630s.
