Clogwyn y Geifr, or the 'Devil's Kitchen' in English, is a prominent rocky outcrop situated in Cwm Idwal, an atmospheric corrie at the end of the Ogwen Valley in northern Snowdonia. It was an area that Sir Kyffin Williams knew intimately and painted often and the present work is an exceptional example of Williams' dramatic style.
