It really was '92 and '93 that helped the reputation of l'Angélus as people saw what they could do in difficult years. Plums nose, but a mite vegetal. Good, inky, plummy fruit on the palate, indicating lots of Merlot. Drink now. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
