comprising ten woodblock prints, surimono, each embellished with metallic pigments and embossing, from the series Framed Pictures of Women for the Katsushika Circle (Katsushikaren gakumen fujin awase), each signed Gakutei, privately issued, circa 1817-27

Each surimono, shikishiban: each approx. 20.9 x 18.5 cm., 8¼ x 7¼ in.
