Presentation copy of Milne's autobiographical portrait of his marriage, inscribed and signed by Mr. and Mrs. Milne on (and incorporating) the half-title: "For Jimmy Macrae. 'Two People' who are very fond of Macraes. A. A. Milne and Daphne Milne." The present volume is an advance reading copy of the Methuen edition, with copy-editing, proofreading, and printer's annotations for the E. P. Dutton edition. Accompanied by related material including an autograph letter signed by Milne, 19 August 1931; a printed invitation from Dutton for a reception for the Milnes at the Waldorf-Astoria; and a typed memorandum about the Dutton edition.
