Folio (403 x 317 mm). Inscribed on the half-title, two original signed etchings with tissue guards, illustrated with 69 reproductions of Clark's etchings; remnants of a crushed insect between front free endpaper and fly-leaf. In half dark brown morocco over marbled boards, spine with raised bands in six compartments, second with black morocco label lettered in gilt, others with repeat gilt decoration, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. 

Presentation copy, number 40 of 50 numbered copies in this deluxe edition. The volume was presented to John M. Schiff, with an affectionate inscription on the half-title, reading, "For John M. Schiff, Hoping you enjoy these etchings as much as I did in their making. Roland Clarke." A handsome edition of this American sporting artist's work.
