A gold-mounted hardstone seal, probably German, 1760 and later
the tapering bloodstone cane handle later mounted as a desk seal, carved with scrollwork and applied with chased gold putti and cornucopiae on flower swags, the lid topped with two chased gold putti, the collar with three differently engraved or cut borders, the circular citrine matrix engraved with a European coat-of-arms, apparently unmarked
