Decorated in relief with silver and gold, and painted with gouache and coloured varnishes, depicting a view from the Seine and the Cour d'Honneur, each with handwritten inscription to the reverse, 'Chateau de Choisy le Roi après le dédoublement des façades entourant la cour d'honneur qui fut exécuté en 1752 par Louis XV ' and 'Vue de Choisy le Roy du côté de la Rivière, fait sur le tour dans la fabrique du S Compigné, rue Grenetta Roi David ..21', and the Seine view with Lebrun framer label
