of heavy weight, the oval base cast and chased with four dolphins with scrolled tails rising from spume, the body deeply chased with shellwork below the everted spume rim, entwined coral handles, the domed cover with conch shell finial resting on seaweed, silver liner with scroll grips, marked on base, cover, liner and finial, the base rim stamped Storr & Mortimer 224
