Délicourt was a Parisian wallpaper factory founded in 1838 by Étienne Délicourt, a former worker at Dufour, and it closed in 1860. This panel was probably inspired by the tapestries of Jean-Baptiste Oudry, but likely dates to the mid-19th century (between 1851-1860).

This scene was one section of a panoramic wallpaper design, "La Grande Chasse", which received high praise when it debuted at the Great Exhibition in London and won the only council medal awarded to a wallpaper that year.
