A Meissen Coffee Pot and A Cover, Circa 1728


painted in black monochrome with large Kauffahrtei scenes of merchants and their wares by a quayside, within shaped gilt-edged cartouches filled with diaper panels reserving small medallions of figures, issuing scrollwork, gilt-scroll band at the rim, the body around the spout and handle with monochrome indianische Blumen, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt letter T.
