with a silk embroidered 'butterfly' panel above
Height overall 72 in., 182.8 cm; Length 32¼ in., 82 cm
Gifted to Norman H. Davis (1878-1944), and thence by descent.
Norman H. Davis (1878-1944) was an American diplomat in the early 20th century. He served as Under Secretary of State under Woodrow Wilson, and served as Ambassador under Franklin D. Roosevelt's administration.
