Edo period, 17th century
the jujimonji-zukuri [figure-ten] shaped yari, carved with
tama oi ryu [dragon and flaming sacred pearl] and tsume ni gomabashi, the ubu tang with two mekugi-ana, signed Umetada Myoju horimono dosaku; with later red lacquer pole and black lacquer saya, 112 cm., 44⅛ in. long
Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 25.2cm., 10 in.
