A porcelain Easter egg, Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, late 19th century

Finely painted with St Mitrophan within ciselé gilt border, the reverse with gold and blue ornament against white ground, with later gilt metal stand terminating in a dome, apparently unmarked

height 14cm, 5 1/2in.
