A Fabergé jewelled varicoloured gold-mounted nephrite and rock crystal stamp dampener, workmaster Feodor Afanassiev, St Petersburg, 1904-1908


the rectangular nephrite stamp dampener on four gold bun feet, the sides applied with swags of green gold laurels set with cabochon rubies suspended from red gold ribbons and rose diamond studs, the upper rim of red gold supporting a border of laurel leaves chased in green gold, the roller of matted rock crystal, struck on the mount with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, with scratched inventory number 14725
