This fantasy film was directed by Gordon Hessler, and features stop motion effects by Ray Harryhausen, who also co-produced and co-wrote the story. It is the second of three Sinbad films that Columbia Pictures released between 1958 and 1977. The cast includes John Phillip Law, Tom Baker, Takis Emmanuel, and Caroline Munro.
