This British landmark counterculture drama was produced and directed by Lindsay Anderson. The film stars Malcolm McDowell, David Wood, and Richard Warwick. After a series of humiliating, and sometimes abusive incidents, a group of pupils, led by a lower sixth form student, rebel against the system. The film won the Palme d'Or at the 1969 Cannes Film Festival.
