Three Höchst porcelain cups and saucers and two teabowls and saucers
circa 1755-1780
comprising: a chinoiserie cup and saucer, probably by Andreas Philipp Oettner, a straight-sided cup and socketed saucer painted in puce camaïeu with three putti and an eagle and single putto among clouds, a teacup and saucer painted in purpurmalerei with figures in landscape above polychrome scroll supports and a two small teabowls and saucers painted with flowers, various wheel marks, impressed and incised marks

See Stahl, P. Höchster Porzellan 1746-1796, Frankfurt, 1994, p. 252, no. 6.8.7 for a bowl and teapot attributed to Oettner, perhaps from the same service as the cup and saucer in the present lot.
