circular, the domed lid and base centred with a leafy ornament in translucent green, red and opaque white enamel on a sablé ground in a circular white bead border, all sides of translucent grey enamel over lozenge engine-turning and further decorated with borders of green enamel leaves alternating with red, opaque pale blue and white enamel beads, maker's mark, charge and discharge marks for Jean-Baptiste Fouache, Paris date letter O for 1777,
