Early production XB2, it became a favored and much lighter replacement for the unwieldy Hammond B3 for many touring bands. The XB2 models were the first portable Hammonds to faithfully capture the idiosyncratic sounds of the iconic B3 drawbar tones without the 400lb weight. These were also frequently used as MIDI controllers.
