Omega celebrated the Apollo XI mission’s 35th anniversary in 2004 with the launch of a commemorative limited edition Speedmaster. The watch was issued in 3500 examples and features a silvered dial with black registers, which collectors like to call “Panda”. The dial mentions in red the “July 20, 1969” script, date of the Moon landing. The unique back displays the Apollo XI mission patch and the limited edition script to the periphery, including the watch number, 1251/3500 for the present watch.
An increasingly collectible reference, it is offered with its warranty, user manual and presentation case.
