This drawing was done in 1989-1990 for inclusion in the book Album, published by Aubier in 1990. Laid out like a scrapbook, it is certainly the most splendid, opulent book published by Pierre Le-Tan, which is nowhere to be found today. It is completely handwritten and gathers together drawings and texts written by Le-Tan about his travels, his life and the characters who inspired him, which are scattered 'without the slightest logic, to be flipped through like an album of randomly discovered photographs'.

Le dessin a été exécuté en 1989-1990 pour être inclus dans l’ouvrage Album, édité par Aubier en 1990. Certainement le plus splendide et luxueux ouvrage publié par Pierre Le-Tan, et aujourd’hui introuvable, ce livre est mis en page comme un scrap-book. Entièrement manuscrit, il rassemble des dessins et des textes écrits par Le-Tan sur ses voyages, sur sa vie et sur des personnages qui l’ont inspirés et qui sont placés sans "la moindre logique et qu’il fait feuilleter comme un album de photographies découvertes au hasard".
