in Louis XVI style, the fixed stands with lower border of Vitruvian scrolls linking bud feet and chased with interlaced berried foliage and tied ribbons with an inner band of linked ovals surrounding a bud and leaf finial, the openwork tureens on hoof feet, with cast festoons of flowers joining central baskets topped by pairs of doves and ram’s head handles; the covers chased to match, engraved with monograms and with twin ribbon-tied wreath finials, gilt interiors, blue glass liners
