of cylindrical form, the cover surmounted with a large flower finial painted on either side with a vignette of two birds in a landscape, with gilt-dentil rim, the base with two branch handles with leafy flower-head terminals, painted with two similar vignettes above scattered flower sprays and sprigs, gilt-edged footrim, gold anchor mark
