Of rectangular outline in black leather, held closed by a tortoiseshell hoop handle modelled as bamboo, opening to reveal a compartmentalised interior with separate mirror, measuring approximately 284 x 190 x 65mm including handle, interior stamped Cartier, case stamped Cartier; circa 1940 and later.
