Description
A Roman Pavonazzetto Marble Trapezophoros in the Form of a Barbarian
circa 2nd Century A.D.
standing with his right leg crossed over the left, and his hands bound before him, and wearing boots, leggings, short tunic bound with a belt, and mantle fastened on his right shoulder and falling over the back, his now missing hands and head once carved in a different marble; no restorations.
