For a very similar écuelle by a goldsmith with the initials GV, see Gianfranco Fina, Argentieri Piemontesi del 700, 2018, pp. 268-271. On the écuelle presented here, the essay mark of Giuseppe Vernoni is very readable, that of the tester is only partially. We can distinguish the first letter, a D, but not the second. This mark could correspond to that illustrated in the book of Augusto Bargoni, illustration X.
Pour une écuelle très similaire par un orfèvre aux initiales GV, voir Gianfranco Fina, Argentieri Piemontesi del 700, 2018, pp. 268-271. Sur l'écuelle présentée ici, le poinçon du contre-essayeur Giuseppe Vernoni est très lisible, celui de l'essayeur ne l'est qu'en partie. On peut distinguer la première lettre, un D, mais pas la seconde. Ce poinçon pourrait correspondre à celui illustré dans l'ouvrage d'Augusto Bargoni, planche X.
