A PAIR OF MEISSEN SCHNEEBALLEN VASES AND COVERS, LATE 19TH CENTURY

of pear-shape, each with a blossom-encrusted body applied with 17 balls of mayflower blossoms and spreading leafy vines, one side affixed with a perching cockatoo, the other with a smaller parrot, the domed foot with a small yellow nesting bunting, and a bullfinch on the vine branch knop of the cover, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised model numbers 2766.
