A set of four dinner plates from the Officers' Service of the Imperial Yacht Queen Victoria, Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg, Periods of Alexander II (1855-1881) and Alexander III (1881-1894)
the borders with bands of cobalt blue relieved by scrolling gilt ornament, the cavettos centred with a polychrome Imperial State Seal above a magenta banner bearing the Russian inscription Yacht Queen Victoria, with green Imperial cyphers of Alexander II and Alexander III on the undersides
