A large and impressive gem-set silver and cloisonné enamel kovsh, 11th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917


in the Russian Revival style, richly decorated in shaded varicoloured enamel flowers and scrolls on opaque cream grounds, the sides with cartouches depicting the Goat with Golden Horns from the fairy tale of the same name, the front with a bogatyr on horseback, the handle with two alkonosts wearing kokoshniks, the handle and body further embellished with cabochon garnets, engraved on the base with '3 October 1915 / from the Morozov family' and monograms, struck on the base with maker's mark, 84 standard
