circular, cabochon crystal beryl thumbpiece, the wood body with chased leaf, struck on the mounts K. Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial warrant, 84 standard, with scratched inventory number 16238
diameter 5.5cm, 2 1/10in.
Purchased jointly by Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna from the Moscow branch of Fabergé on 16 November 1902 for 32 roubles, each paying 16 roubles.
