• Movement: frosted gilded, pivoted detent escapement, jewelled to the centre, blued steel helical spring, two polished steel hammers repeating on coiled gongs, numbered 593

• Dial: white enamel, bold black Roman numerals, outer minute track, chronograph seconds above with Arabic numeral divisions, four sunken subsidiary dials for day, date, month and subsidiary seconds combined with aperture for moon phases, gold filigree hands

• Case: 18ct gold, the front and back cover each engraved with the head of a horse, surrounded by engraved flowers and foliage, bezels and band with repeated geometric engraved decoration, chronograph pusher locked via a lever protruding from the bezel when the cover is closed, repeating slide to the band, short levers to the bezel for independently adjusting all calendar functions, glazed inner cuvette, gold outer cuvette signed and numbered M. J. Pack, Bombay, No. 38756, covers also numbered 38756, front cover with case maker's mark in the form of Maltese cross initialled J M D D to the points and J & Co. to the centre
