The present example was created in the early 1940s in a very limited quantity of less than 100 pieces and was discontinued in the early 1960s. This model was also available in yellow gold and different variations of layouts and dial colors. To ensure the rigorous standards of the world t.mes mechanism, Cottier was personally involved in the finishing of every single reference 605 during that t.mes . With world t.mes being the most sought-after complications watch of Patek Philippe, this present example has a more special historical element as Paris and London are listed on the same t.mes zone, for Paris had converted to Central European t.mes  in June, 1940 due to the Second World War. 

The present watch is a fine example with very crisp case and hard enamel scales throughout.
