stylised pine-cone form, the cover with finial modelled as a falconer supporting a heraldic shield, with engraved coat-of-arms and dated 1657, quatrafoil open scrollwork stem between sheet-scrollwork, on a spreading circular base chased with fruits and flowers, later Dutch control marks to cover, body, and foot
