modelled by Ernst August Leuteritz, elaborately molded in low relief with scroll work painted in pale turquoise and pink, with gilt-edged rims, supporting three tiers of candle sconces, of molded scrollwork form, the whole encrusted with flowers and flowering vine, the base painted with vignettes of couples in landscapes, supported on three feet each affixed with a putto playing an instrument, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue, incised model No. 3000., impressed numeral 121
