Vintage chromogenic print, image taken by Bill Taub, 10 1/2 by 13 1/4 inches, mounted on matboard; some toning to mat.
The Gemini 5 mission doubled the U.S space-flight record of Gemini 4. Its eight-day duration reflected the length of time it would take to fly to the Moon, land on the lunar surface, and return safely to Earth.
