gilt full plate movement with verge escapement, pierced and engraved screwed on balance cock, blued steel ratchet-wheel set up and locking spring with similarly pierced and engraved cock, baluster pillars, gut fusee, signed F Masseron, Paris, dial with white enamel chapter ring, the gilt centre with enamel daisies, engraved edges, enameled case depicting Flora, the goddess of flowers, with painted flora, bow and arrows, symbols love and fertility, around the edge, inside of the covers painted with bouquets of flowers, accompanied by a fitted shagreen case with ornate silver hinge and fastenings
