Midget window card
Midget window cards were the smallest known American posters. They were printed for use in small shops and local communities to advertise the film. They were printed on heavier paper stock, and there was a small area left blank at the top of each card to allow the local cinema to hand write their details and the screening t.mes s. Cinerama was a projection technique used to create a wide-screen curved projection of a film. Very few cinemas at the t.mes had the capability to show this format. Therefore 2001: A Space Odyssey posters displaying the Cinerama logo are more highly prized.
