A ROMAN MARBLE FIGURE OF HYGIEIA, CIRCA 2ND CENTURY A.D., WITH 18TH/19TH CENTURY RESTORATIONS


standing with the weight on her left leg, and wearing a girdled chiton slipping from her right shoulder, and a himation draped over her left shoulder and around the lower body, a serpent coiled around the left arm, resting over the left shoulder, and hanging its tail over the back; head and most of lower legs with base restored in marble; forearms formerly restored.
