- 23.5 cm, 9 1/4 in.
the slender baluster body rising from a recessed base to a rounded shoulder and short narrow neck with everted rim, incised and brightly enamelled in green with a four-clawed dragon pursuing a flaming pearl

Collection of Constantin von Hanneken (1854-1925) and thence by descent.
Exhibited
This vase may have been exhibited in the Roemer-Pelizaeus Museum, Hildesheim, in 1930 (possibly no.32. on an unpublished listing).
Condition
The meiping is in good condition with the exception of a circa 8mm., diam., glaze flake to the lower edge of the body, minor glaze firing imperfections including burst bubbles and iron-spots and light glaze scratches.
