Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and slightly loosely stretched. The media layer and impasto are stable overall. Under raking light inspection, a few intermittent spots of surface dust which has adhered to the areas of heavy impasto are present throughout. At the extreme lower left edge, a one- by 1/2-inch rectangular piece of very fine transparent plastic has adhered to the surface of the impasto. Intermittent very fine lines of hairline craquelure are present along each of the extreme edges of the canvas, however these areas are stable. Under ultraviolet light inspection, areas of fluorescence occur throughout due to the media selected by the artist.
