Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is particular dirt in the crevices. There is some very slight veining to the marble, consistent with the material, including to the background around the chin and to the forehead. There are a few minor naturally occurring inclusions, some with fill. There are a few very light abrasions to the edges and high points. There is minor wear to the gilding, including some flaking.
