Condition

Overall, the condition of the Luesterweibchen is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The fingers of the proper left hand are lost, and there is a loss to one of the fingers on the proper right hand. The polychromy has probably been refreshed, in particular at the arms and the face. There is some general wear to the polychromy, including some flaking, in particular to the scrolls flanking the coat of arms and to the hair. There are various scuffs and abrasions to the paintwork, including to the nose, and in particular to the arms. There is some general wear to the antlers, in particular at the tips. There are a few small metal pins to the antlers. The chain may be later.
