Description

  • teapot 23.5cm., 9 1/4 in. high
the teapot of baluster form with cast rams head spout, the stylised branch handle embellished with a winged putto, ivory insulators, the finial cast with a figure of Christ, embossed with a similar figure to the body as well as coat-of arms, among Gothic strap-work and foliage, the cream jug with cast winged putto junction, body embossed with panels depicting the four evangelists, retailers mark and inscriptions to underside

Condition

Marks clear to underside. The teapot with finial, cover and handle a little loose. Otherwise good condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
