Description

  • Silver, Wood
  • 9cm., 3 1/2 in. high
circular with reeded rims, engraved with the arms of a Bishop to one side and accolle arms below a Count's coronet to the other, 24.2cm., 9 1/2 in. diameter, together with a Dutch silver sugar/tobacco box, possibly N.A.F. Witteman, Amsterdam, 1958, bellied scalloped form, the cover engraved with a coat-of-arms, loaded

 



 

Provenance

The arms to the sugar tobacco box are those of Bishop Joannes Antonius Eduardus van Dodewaard of Haarlem (1960-1966)

Condition

Plates with light surface wear. Good gauge. Makers mark distorted on each, one overstriking. The box with a couple of small bruises, otherwise light surface wear.
