Commissioned by Antonino Nicosia, Baron of Sangiaime for Palazzo Nicosia, Enna, Sicily;
By descent to Nunzio Nicosia, Baron of Sangiaime who moved the chandeliers and sconces to Sperlinga Castle, Enna, Sicily;
By descent to his nephew Cavaliere Giovanni Calogero Li Destri Nicosia;
Thence by descent to the present owner.

Condition

A superb chandelier in very good conserved condition. The central metal stem was shortened at the beginning of the 20th century and has since been restored to its correct size by Baccarat. A small amount of drops have been replaced by Baccarat. This piece is complete and is ready to place.
