the first, a triple-cased verge watch, Geneva, circa 1770, the movement with pierced balance cock, ruby end-stone, square baluster pillars, signed and numbered Jean Robert Soret, 27479, white enamel dial, roman numerals, outer arabic minute ring, paste-set hands, signed Jean Robert Soret, plain gold case with winding aperture to rear, casemaker's incuse mark RS, numbered: [2]7479; second case, two-colour gold with polychrome painted enamel bust of a girl within a paste-set enamel surround, paste-set bezel; outer case with pinned lacquered bezels, the rear with crystal to view the enamel beneath, 4.7cm., 1 7/8 in. diameter ;  the second, a paste-set gilt.mes tal and gold-cased 5 draw spy glass, probably French, circa 1820, the barrel with pierced mounts in the form of grape clusters and vine leaves embellished with coloured pastes over poudre d'écaille, unmarked, 4.7cm., 1 7/8 in. diameter ; the third, a desk t.mes piece, Geneva, late 19th century, converted from an earlier t.mes piece, early 19th century with gilt dust cap, the movement signed Robert et Courvoisier, No. 72735, white enamel dial with polychrome enamel subject of two nymphs admiring a sleeping infant, t.mes dial at 6 with Arabic numerals and outer minute track, winding aperture at 2, gilt Breguet hands, signed R&C, the watch now fitted into a pivoting case, past-set bezel, cast floral metalwork surround, within a gilt.mes tal frame, 8cm., 3 1/8 in. diameter

Condition

First Watch : Movement working at the t.mes of cataloguing. Dial is loose, two of the feet are not pinned. Lacking blue enamel round edge of second case. Outer case with lacquer slightly chipped Opera spy glass: overall good condition. Some poudre d'ecaille lacking. t.mes piece: Movement working at the t.mes of cataloguing. Cannot remove dust cap at present, perhaps requires watchmaker. Sotheby's does not guarantee the functioning.
