Condition

The sheet is secured to the mount with three strips of adhesive tape; one which runs the length of the upper edge, and two which run vertically from the top to half way down the vertical edges. The edges of the sheet are deckled. There is some slight t.mes staining to the edges of the sheet, not visible in the present mount. There is some undulation throughout the sheet but it otherwise appears sound. There are two tiny spots of foxing in the upper right corner. Subject to the above, the work appears to be very good overall condition with bright and fresh pigments throughout. The work is window mounted and presented in a simple painted and gilded wooden frame, and held behind glass.
